Use Speech Recognition

In the Preferences menu, you can turn speech recognition on or off.

With speech recognition on, you can speak into the microphone and Rosetta Stone evaluates your speech.

With speech recognition off, you will not be prompted to speak. In speech screens you only hear the native speakers.
