Typing

This screen helps you learn to spell words in your new language. It also helps you become familiar with the alphabet for the language.

How to Complete

Type the word or phrase that corresponds with the image below.

You can enter the word or phrase in either of two ways:

• Type the letters with your keyboard.
• Click the correct letters on the on-screen keyboard with your mouse.

Type the text or click on the keyboard:

Press Enter or click to check the word or phrase you have typed for scoring.

If you misspell the word, the incorrect letter will be highlighted. Type the correct letter. Each incorrect letter will be highlighted one at a time until you correct the spelling.

Click a special character key to select additional characters with accent or diacritic marks:

Then click to insert an accented character:

Click Shift or CapsLock to type one or more keys in uppercase.

Note: You can select a preferred keyboard based on the language you are learning, and set the precision level required for your typing to be scored as correct. To change the keyboard layout and typing precision level, see Preferences.
