Edit Your Profile

In the Basic Information tab, you'll see the information you entered when you first set up your TOTALe account for online services. You'll also see your mini-profile that other learners will see on the TOTALe site.

• Click Change avatar to choose a different picture to display in your mini-profile.
• Your First name and Last name won't be displayed on the TOTALe site.
• Your Display name is how your name will appear on the TOTALe site. We suggest that you use your real name with last initial so that you can carry on conversations in the community, and your Connections can recognize you.
• Your Birth date is required so we know whether you are eligible for online services.
• Your Gender helps the Rosetta Stone speech-recognition technology adjust to your voice type, and helps us customize activities for you in Rosetta World, such as role-playing games.

If you need to edit the grayed-out fields, click the Change Learner icon in the Toolbar.

If you'd like to receive postal mail from Rosetta Stone, such as recognition of your progress, enter your postal mailing address.

Check the boxes to display your city and state or province on your mini-profile.

• Address - Enter your postal mailing address, if you've chosen for us to send you postal mail in Contact Preferences.
• Country - Choose the country where you're using TOTALe. Your country will be displayed in your mini-profile.
• City - Enter your city as part of your mailing address, or to display in your mini-profile.
• Show City on my mini-profile - Check to display your city in your mini-profile.
• State/Province - Enter your state or province as part of your mailing address, or to display in your mini-profile.
• Show State/Province on my mini-profile - Check to display in your mini-profile.
• Postal Code - Enter your zip code or postal code as part of your mailing address.
• Phone country code

Enter your telephone contact information that you want us to use to contact you for the reasons you select in Contact Preferences in your Profile.

• Phone country code + phone number Include your international telephone code and the complete number including your local area code.
• Phone country code + Mobile phone number Include your international telephone code and the complete number including your local area code.

Select the Language Settings tab to switch between the languages you're learning. You can also select the language which you want to receive support, and your Simbio language to participate in language exchanges.

• If you are learning more than one language in TOTALe, click Make Active to choose the language you want to practice. The language currently selected is shown as Active.
• Click Manage Online Subscription to add another language to learn.
• Support Language - Choose the language you want to use when you receive support from Rosetta Stone.
• Simbio™ Language - Choose your native language, or the language you speak most fluently. When you join a Simbio language exchange, you'll help your partner practice your Simbio language, and in return, your partner will help you practice the language you're learning.

Choose your time zone, the day of the week, and the time format to display on the Studio scheduling page. See Schedule a Studio Session.

• Time zone - Choose the time zone where you're using TOTALe. This is important for scheduling Studio™ sessions and other online activities.
• First day of the week - choose whether you want your calendar to start the week on Sunday or Monday.
• Time format - choose the AM/PM format or the 24-hour clock.

• To discuss my language learning goals - Check this option if you want to hear from Rosetta Stone when you've reached important milestones, for encouragement in your progress, and for news and updates to enhance your language learning.
• To send me reminders - Check this option to receive reminders of your Studio sessions,

How would you like us to contact you?

Check the contact methods you prefer:

• By e-mail - We'll contact you at the e-mail address you use to sign in to TOTALe.
• By postal mail - We'll send postal mail to the address you provide in your Basic Information.
• By phone - We'll call you at the phone number you enter in Basic Information. Include your phone country code and the complete number including your local area code.
• By text message - We'll send you SMS text messages to your mobile phone. Include your phone country code and the complete number including your local area code.

You can change your e-mail and password.

• Change e-mail - Enter your current e-mail address and your new e-mail address. We'll send an e-mail to your new address to request confirmation. Continue to sign in with your old e-mail address until you have confirmed the change.
• Change password- Enter your old password and your new password. Your password must have at least six (6) characters and one number.
