The Preferences Menu

Click the Preferences icon in the Toolbar to access the Preferences menu.

The Preferences menu gives you the following options:

• Choose Rosetta Stone TOTALe video to watch the video describing the Rosetta Stone method and the components of TOTALe.
• Choose Manage My Account to edit your profile, and to update your subscription to the online community of Rosetta Stone TOTALe™.
• Choose Activate Products to gain full access to your language content in Rosetta Course™ and to your TOTALe online services — Rosetta Studio™ and Rosetta World™.
• Choose Add or Remove Languages to install a new Language Level or remove a Level from your computer to save storage space.
• Choose Manage My Account to extend your access period for the online services of Rosetta Stone TOTALe, including Rosetta Studio™ and Rosetta World™. You can also purchase access to TOTALe for other learners on your account. See Add or Change Learners.
• Choose Set Preferences to adjust Course, Audio, and Program settings.
• Use the volume slider bar to adjust the volume of your headset speakers and microphone.
• Click Continue to Next Screen to turn on or off the option to continue automatically to the next screen when you complete the current screen. See Getting Around Rosetta Course.
  • With continue to next screen on, your course will automatically advance. Just as you finish the screen, you can click Pause to stop and study the screen.
  • With continue to next screen off, each screen will wait for you to click Advance.
• Click Use Speech Recognition to turn speech recognition on or off.
  • With speech recognition on, you can speak into the microphone and Rosetta Course evaluates your speech.
  • With speech recognition off, you will not be prompted to speak. In speech screens you only hear the native speakers.
• Click Fullscreen Display to expand the display to full screen.
